SA Eagle Auto Assess, a facility that's been in operation since 1998, was instituted as an added benefit to policyholders. It adds value to our service offering by freeing clients of the hassles associated with minor accident claims i.e. where driveable damage has been incurred.
What does the client have to do?
Report the claim to you, the broker, who deals with the policy. You, in turn, contact SA Eagle's in-house assessors. From there, SA Eagle does the rest!
How does it work?
SA Eagle arranges an appointment with the client and, once the vehicle has been inspected, provides an immediate repair quote and authorisation. Clients are no longer required to source quotations themselves. A reputable panel beater is then recommended and the necessary arrangements will be made for the vehicle to be collected, repaired and returned all at SA Eagle's own cost - and, a 12-month guarantee is provided on the workmanship!
Who is the facility available to?
Initially, Auto Assess was introduced as an added benefit to domestic policies only, but it has since been extended to include group schemes and commercial business too!
Where does it operate?
At present, this service is available in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, and their surrounding areas. Policyholders residing in outlying areas where Auto Assess is currently not in operation are assisted in the traditional manner. However, all isn't lost, as ALL policyholders who are travelling in or around the areas where Auto Assess is available, can make use of the service.
