Zurich's Shared Services have, during the past months, embarked on initiatives aimed at streamlining our processes to enable us to provide a better, more efficient and effective service to you, our brokers, and to our mutual customers.
Research among Zurich's broking community has shown that the complaints we receive and problems that are encountered by you normally refer to delays in the claims settlement process.
Well, we have listened to your call and have embarked on an initiative that addresses the claims process and the speed at which claims are settled. The project, called Fast Track Claims, caters for the settlement of gross claims up to R10,000 where all the required information is available.
We anticipate that this new process will eliminate delays as claims falling within the scope of Fast Track Claims, are allocated to dedicated technicians who have been tasked with a 24 hour turn around.

This initiative will enable us to improve the claims settlement service for a large percentage of claims and will, initially, be applied only to non-motor classes. Specialised products have also been excluded.
